-- Eric will be performing at the Huck Finn Jubilee Music Festival in Victorville, California with Julie Wingfield on Saturday June 16th. Eric will be teaching a guitar workshop for two days at the Calico Ghost Town Spring Festival near Barstow, California on May 12 and 13th, 2012.  Eric along with Chris Stuart and Backcountry will be performing at the Mammoth Bluegrass Festival on September 1st & 2nd, 2012 at Mammoth Lakes, California.

-- Eric's recent recording studio bookings include blues master Ed Wieler, songwriter and all around good guy, John Stroup, gospel artist Lamar Wallace, songwriter Bill Rhoads, Mike and Connie Cahill, Pianist/Vocalst Norma Garcia, Stien Rogers, and Debby Clinkenbeard who is working on a new recording with renowned songwriter/guitarist Neal Casal (Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, Willie Nelson, Chris Robinson Brotherhood.) -- Several recording, mixing and mastering projects are already underway for artists Steve Spurgin, John Holborn, Mike Krynak, Maurice Sklar and Mark Gasbarro (Cars 2, Mission Impossible 3, Up, Super 8), Zane Rillera, Tipse, Ray Payne, Rick McKinney, Dena Michals, Luanne Hunt, Jimmy Small, Kevin Stancil, Jackie Nicholson and music groups Broken, The Wimberleys, The Shemanski Family (All Strings Attached), Jodi & Jarfly, The Jeff Raidaith Trio, The Shuler Family and Aventitious. -- The Gonzalo Bergara Quartet, has released their new CD entitled, Simplicated recorded last summer and are presently recording a new project for 2012 release. -- The Sweet Tidings Gospel Jam has released their second CD project recorded earlier this year entitled, Nearer available on cdbaby soon and have just started recording a new project entitled, Gift. -- Steve Wilmert's creative Christmas project, Simply Christmas has been released and is available on iTunes and here.

-- Eric's step son Christian Ward has been performing with Sierra Hull all over the United States and Canada this year and was recently in Nashville filming another video for CMT that can be seen here. Eric Uglum is an internationally known musician, producer and owner of New Wine Recording Studio in the High Desert of Southern California. Eric has made a career of highlighting and complementing the talents of others, whether on stage or behind the recording console of his music studio. He is often content to play subtle guitar and mandolin backup or add in a stunning vocal harmony, whatever best serves the song. With the release of his solo recording Shenandoah Wind on Backcountry Records, Eric has answered the outcry of his long-time following, bringing his soulful lead singing and guitar playing to the forefront in a very moving combination of songs that together reflect some of Eric’s musical affinities. Selected by Bluegrass Now magazine as the album of the year, guests on the project include Alison Krauss, Ron Block, Stuart Duncan and Rob Ickes. Eric has been featured in Flatpicking Guitar Magazine, Bluegrass Unlimited and Bluegrass Now Magazine as well as many television and radio interviews.
